New Year's Party Noisemakers & Poppers

Project Instructions

    Paper Plate Organizers:
    Step A: Paint the craft stick Glorious Gold, the plates Lamp (Ebony) Black, and let dry.
    Step B: Hot glue the craft stick onto the inside edge of one of the plates, about 2”" from the end.
    Step C: Put a handful of pony beads on the plate. Put hot glue on the other side of the craft stick and then put the other plate on top, with the sides even with the other plate. Staple the plates together all around the edge.
    Step D: Embellish with Iridescent glitter glue designs, Gold glitter, and/or Gold stickers.

    DIY Poppers:
    Step A: Cut a piece of Gold tissue paper to fit around the cardboard roll several times with about 5"” on each side.
    Step B: Fill the cardboard tube with candy and confetti. Wrap the cardboard tube with the piece of Gold tissue paper and tape closed. Tie the ends closed with several pieces of curling ribbon. Use the scissors to curl the ribbon ends.
    Step C: When you are ready to pop the poppers, pry the cardboard tube apart with your hands or cut or rip them open.

    Plastic Ball Noisemakers:
    Step A: Place the bells in one side of the plastic ball ornament. Close the ball and place a thin strip of Gold Coin duct tape around the seam to prevent it from opening.
    Step B: Tie a piece of White ribbon through the hole for a hanger.
    Step C: Cut two 16”" pieces of both White and Black curling ribbon. Tie all the pieces around the top of the ball and knot. Curl the ribbon with the scissors.
    Step D: Embellish the ornament with marker.

    Craft Stick Noisemakers:
    Step A: Paint the craft stick Lamp (Ebony) Black and let dry.
    Step B: Cut a 24”" piece of ribbon and thread 7 bells onto the ribbon. Wrap the bells around the top of the craft stick and tie the ends together.
    Step C: Cut another piece of ribbon and tie it to the knot. Curl the ribbons with the scissors.
    Step D: Wrap two thin pieces of Gold Coin duct tape around the craft stick.
