Nicole Crafts Bicycle License Plate
Kids'll want to ride their bicycles when they add a personalized foam license plate they made themselves. Let them use letter stickers to spell out their name, decorate with a little dimensional fabric paint, hang the nameplate on their bike with some yarn and they're good to go! This is also a fun summer camp, sleepover or kid's birthday party activity!
- Level:beginner (6 + up)
- Time:1 hour + drying time
1Make: Download the template to cut out two shapes from the same color foam. (We used Rose and Lime Green.) Glue the two shapes together and then punch the other holes.
2Embellish: Attach stickers spelling child's name. (Reinforce the stickers with the white glue.) Decorate your license plate with dimensional fabric paints and let them dry thoroughly. Cut an 18 inch piece of yarn. Thread each side through the two holes from the front. Tie together in the back, making the hanger as long as you want. Trim the ends.
