Nicole™ Crafts Copper Top Birdhouse

Copper accents add a rich look to any décor. These birdhouses are specifically made to use outside. The bottom can be removed and cleaned out after every season! Birdhouses can be decorated in so many ways...whether with paint, decoupage with scrapbook or decorative stamped paper,  craft basics like buttons, beads and ribbon, you can make it your own!

Project Instructions

  • 1
    Paint front, back and sides of birdhouse Olive Green. Let dry.
  • 2
    Distress corners using ink pad and pouncer. When dry, varnish entire birdhouse.
  • 3
    Measure, fit and cut copper using scallop-edge scissors along one edge for front of roof. Leave an edge to fold over roof.
  • 4
    Fit and cut copper for roof. Hold front edge pieces and roof on birdhouse. Secure with nails.
  • 5
    Fit and cut copper for around bottom edge of birdhouse. Attach with nails.
  • 6
    Using templates, cut flowers and leaves from copper. Nail to front of birdhouse.
