Nicole™ Crafts Dad Rocks

Let everyone know how Dad rocks! Add your loving words with chalkboard paint and display where everyone can see! It's a DIY Father's Day gift the whole family will enjoy!

Project Instructions

    Paint: Note: Each application of paint needs to be done twice to ensure complete coverage. Let the paint dry before going on to that second coat.
    Paint the top of seven river rocks Snow (Titanium) White with a sponge brush. Use the flat brush to add a chalkboard paint oval in the center of the rocks. Paint the wood box True Red with a clean or new sponge brush. Use the flat brush to add a chalkboard paint oval on the inside of the wood box's lid.

    Embellish: When all the paint is dry, print "Today my Dad is… ... " on the chalkboard oval on the wood box'’s lid with the chalk marker. Print words such as fun, kind, happy (these are just a few ideas to get you started) on the rocks with the chalk marker. Let rocks dry. Add dash marks around the chalkboard ovals on the rocks using the paint markers. Let the rocks dry again.
