Nicole Crafts Deco Mesh Ghost

Some believe the earliest Halloween celebrations consisted of people wearing masks so ghosts couldn't recognize them. Make this Deco Mesh ghost part of every Halloween - maybe someday you'll find out who it's hiding from.

Project Instructions
-
1Cut two 2 yard pieces of White Iridescent mesh. Lay one piece on a flat surface. Lay the other piece going the opposite way.
-
2Lay the Styrofoam ball in the center of both pieces. Gather up the first piece of mesh around the ball, then the second piece; hold in place. Secure with an Orange chenille stem, twisting tightly.
-
3Create a multi-loop bow with orange mesh ribbon using an Orange chenille stem to secure bow. Tie bow securely around neck of ghost.
-
4Cut cording from mask. Attach mask to ghost with adhesive circles. Note: for added security, hot glue can also be used.
-
5Bend a Black chenille stem into a squiggly line for the mouth and glue to ghost.
-
6To make the spider, twist four Black chenille stems together. Bend each of the four stems on each side into a V shape to make legs. Glue Black pom pom to the center for the body.
-
7Cut a small felt circle. Glue spider to front of mesh and felt circle behind mesh. Tip: This is so you don't burn yourself with the hot glue through the mesh.
-
8Trim ends of the mesh with a zigzag pattern.
