Nicole Crafts Fuzzy Bunny Egg
Use fuzzy soft yarn and colorful chenille stems to create a cute bunny and flowers!
- Level:kid + adult together
- Time:about two hours
1Cut a small piece from the wide end of the Styrofoam egg with the serrated plastic knife. The egg should stand on its own now.
2Glue the end of the yarn to the top of the egg shape. Wind yarn tightly around the egg, adding dabs of glue as you go. Keep the yarn close together. Keep winding until egg is covered and glue end in place.
3Use template to cut ears, arms and feet from felt.
4Use the craft pick to make a small slit at top of egg on one side. Fold one ear in half at the bottom. Use the craft pick to push the ear into the slit. Do the same thing for the other ear on the other side.5Glue the felt feet to the flat bottom of the egg. Glue the felt arms to sides of bunny. Glue on wiggle eyes. Use Pink chalk to make cheeks and color in centers of ears. Cut three 3" pieces of Pink chenille stem. Twist together in the center for whiskers and glue to bunny. Glue a Pink pom pom nose over whiskers.6Bend three chenille stems - two Yellow and one Blue -- into the shape of a flower. Add Green chenille stems for leaves and stems. Glue a rhinestone to the center of each flower. Glue Styrofoam ball inside the clay pot. Stick flowers into the Styrofoam ball. Cover the Styrofoam ball with Lime Green filler paper and place in front of bunny.
