Project Instructions
-
1Wrap Styrofoam wreath with the Yellow mesh ribbon, securing ends with the floral pins.
-
2Wrap the two 4 inch Styrofoam discs with White/Iridescent tubing, gluing as you wrap. Glue the two wrapped discs together and glue to wreath as shown.
-
3Cut two circles from Sky Blue felt that are 2-1/4 inch in diameter each. Glue to centers of eyes. Cut two circles from Black felt that are 1 inch each. Glue to centers of Sky Blue felt circles.
-
4Cut three 16 inch pieces of Orange/Copper mesh tubing. Holding all three pieces together, push a floral pin through all three pieces at the center and then through the center of the eyes. Gather all three pieces about 3-1/2 inch to the right and push a floral pin through all three pieces then into the eye disc, leaving a small puff. Repeat this same method for the left side. Trim the three pieces of tubing at different lengths on both sides for ears.
-
5Cut an 8 inch piece of Orange/Copper mesh tubing. Fold the ends over each other and push a floral pin through both pieces and then into the Styrofoam wreath under the eyes for the beak. Crease the center of the beak. Make three loops at bottom of the Styrofoam wreath and secure in back of Styrofoam wreath with t-pins for feet as shown.
-
6Cut a 12 inch piece of Yellow mesh. Cut this piece in half. Fold one piece in half diagonally. Pin the point into the Styrofoam wreath behind the eye with floral pin. Push a t-pin into each side to create wing. Repeat this method for other wing with other piece of mesh.
