1Bubble Wrap Painting:
Step A: Lay three canvases together in a row.
Step B: Cut a piece of bubble wrap to fit around the foam roller. Use the double-sided tape to attach the bubble wrap to the roller.
Step C: Roll the bubble-wrap covered roller over the three lines of paint. Roll the paint-covered roller over the canvases to fill them up. Try not to press too hard.
Step D: When the paint dries, hang your canvases separately or together. That's up to you!
2Squiggle Art Painting:
Step A: Thin the Mod Podge with water so it is drippy enough to run off the yarn.
Step B: Cut a long piece of yarn. Wearing the rubber gloves, dip the yarn into the mixture and squeeze out the excess. Add the yarn to your canvas in squiggly lines. Add another piece of yarn if you would like to. We used two 16 inch pieces of yarn.
Step C: When the water/Mod Podge mixture is dry, use the foam brush to cover your creation with Gesso. Let this dry. Paint your creation with whatever color you would like. We used Bahama Blue. When paint is dry, hang it and enjoy.
3Tape Art Painting:
Step A: Arrange the four canvases to create a square. Cover the four canvases with strips of the different widths of tape any way you would like. Make sure the tape is secure to the canvases.
Step B: Use the foam brush to paint the canvases with the Gesso. This will seal the tape. Cut the tape between the canvases, keeping the canvases in the right order. Wrap the edges of each canvas with painters tape. Remember to put them back in the right order.
Step C: Paint the top of the canvases with the assorted colors of paint. Let your imagination run wild! When these colors all dry, take the stiff brush and flick Snow (Titanium) White paint onto the canvases. Remember to protect the area around your painting! When everything is dry, remove the painters tape. Carefully remove the tape strips from the top of the canvases. You now have a masterpiece!
Step A: Paint frame part whatever color you would like. We chose True Red. Let dry.
Step B: Use the marker to draw an oblong on the canvas for a head. Add a nose.
Look through magazines to find eyes, ears, hair and a mouth to add to your portrait. Cut them out and attach them to your head with the roll-on adhesive. You have just created a modern self-portrait!
