Hey kids! We have everything you need for the best puppet show ever!

Project Details

  • Level:beginner
  • Time:1 hour + dry time

Project Instructions

  • 1
Download and print the project templates -- or cut your own shapes on the cardstock. If using templates, cut out the puppet shapes in quantities and colors of cardstock indicated.
  • 2
Use the foam roller, sponge brush and craft knife to decorate the shapes with adhesive back glitter foam, chenille stems, marker, yarn and ribbon -- anyway you would like. Glue the end of a dowel onto the backs of each decorated shape for handles. Let glue set before you pick the puppets up.
  • 3
Younger kids can decorate jumbo wood craft sticks with markers, yarn and ribbon for puppets.
  • 4
Have a grownup cut a rectangle in the center section of the display board with the craft knife.
  • 5
Use the foam roller to paint the display board anyway you would like. Let it dry.
  • 6
Attach the Velcro squares to one long side of the fabric piece, then attach to the back of the cut-out for a curtain.
  • 7
    Enjoy the show!
