Nicole Crafts Wood Disc Clay Pot
Use your favorite colors and patterns to create a one-of-a-kind clay pot!
- Time:2 hours
1Project time does not include drying time for neither the paint, dimensional fabric paints, nor Glossy Accents.
2Paint entire clay pot Black Tie, inside and out. Let dry.
3Use larger shader brush to paint two 1-1/2 inch wood discs each color (Deep Turquoise, Apple Green, Orange Sherbert, Flamingo). When dry, embellish discs with your own design using dimensional fabric paints on one side only (as shown, project uses XXX). Let dry thoroughly.
4Use smaller shader brush to paint four 1 inch wood discs each color (Deep Turquoise, Apple Green, Orange Sherbert, Flamingo). Paint a circle of dimensional fabric paint around the edge of each small disc on one side only (as shown, project uses XXX) and allow to dry thoroughly.
5Cover the inside circles of all small wood discs with Glossy Accents. Immediately embellish these areas with coordinating dimensional fabric paint designs of your choice (as shown, project uses Neon Pink, Neon Blue, Neon Green and Neon Orange for these accents). Allow to dry thoroughly.
6Glue large wood discs around top of clay pot approximately 1-1/8 inch apart.
7Using dimensional fabric paints, create flower designs on clay pots between wood discs as shown (as shown, project uses Neon Blue, Neon Green, Neon Orange and Neon Pink). Use rim of the clay pot to determine placement of the remaining small wood discs and flowers. (Tip: these remaining small wood discs and flowers will look best when they are staggered.)
