Cut forty-eight 6 inch lengths, two 60 inch lengths, and one 8 inch length of floss. Join all the 6 inch lengths together, so the ends are even with one another. Fold them in half in the middle. Join the two 60 inch lengths of floss together, lining up the ends. Slide the middle of the joined 60 inch lengths of floss underneath and through the fold of the 6 inch lengths of floss. Tie the 60 inch lengths of floss together in a snug overhand knot just over the top of the fold. Approximately 1/2 inch below the fold in the 6 inch lengths of floss, wrap the 8 inch length of floss snugly around the folded floss, tie the ends together, place a touch of glue to secure the knot, and trim the excess cord. Allow glue to dry and trim the tassel to the desired length. Tip: To get evenly cut pieces of floss, cut a piece of cardboard or heavy cardstock that is the same length as the floss. Wrap the floss lengthwise around it and cut the floss flush at the top and bottom.
Remove a 10 mm clear Pink round from one package of beads. Slide both ends of the 60 inch cords through the hole in the clear light pink round. Separate the two cord ends. One will be for the left side of the necklace and one for the right side. Tie each cord into an overhand knot snug against the other side of the 10 mm clear Pink bead. Remove and set aside a 10 mm clear Pink round from the second package of beads.
Beginning with the next clear Pink glass bead on one of the 10 mm bead packages, string the beads, in order, onto the floss on the left side of the necklace, tying an overhand knot snug against the end of each bead before stringing on the next bead. Continue until you have strung on all the beads on one 10 mm package. Repeat this step for the right side of the necklace.
Continue stringing and knotting on eighteen 6 mm small clear Red beads onto the left side of the necklace, ending with an overhand knot after the last bead. Repeat this step for the right side of the necklace.
Join the floss from both sides of the necklace and tie them together into an overhand knot. Thread both floss ends through the 10 mm clear Pink bead that was set aside from the second package of beads in step 3. Tie the cords together in another overhand knot on the other side of the bead. Trim the ends to a length of 1/2 inch.
