1Use a gauge of 11 sts and 20 rows (about 4 inch) in garter st to knit a cowl that measures neckwarmer that measures about 9 inch wide by 27 inch around. Save time, check your gauge. If the hook or needle listed under supplies does not work, use the size that allows you to obtain the required gauge.

2With Mauve Haze, cast on 35 sts.
1st row: (WS). With Mauve Haze, knit.
2nd row: K2tog. Knit to last st. Kfb.
Rep last 2 rows until work from beg along one side measures 13 inch, ending on a WS row.
With Purple Fog, rep last 2 rows until work from beg along one side measures 27 inch, ending on a RS row. Cast off.
Sew cast on and cast off edges tog.
