Project Instructions

  • 1
    Download and print the project template for help in assembling this project.
    You will need the following quantities of beads for doing this project as shown:
    Brown = 152
    White = 104
    Red = 102
    Dark Green = 82
    Black = 42
    Kiwi Lime = 18
    Neon Yellow
    Orange = 1
  • 2
    Slide template under the large Clear square pegboard. Place the beads as indicated on the template.
  • 3
    Place your pegboard on a flat, heat-safe surface. Set a household iron to the medium setting. Place ironing paper over the pegboard. In a circular motion, begin to iron the project. When ironed properly, the beads will still have an open center. Let the design cool.
  • 4
    Remove the paper and bead design from the pegboard. Flip the design over to expose the non-fused side. Repeat step 3. Let cool completely. Once the design is cool, peel off the ironing paper. Your pegboards and ironing paper are reusable. (Note: beads need heat for about 10-20 seconds per side to fuse evenly. Depending on the size of the project, additional heating time may be required. For the gingerbread man, bend him to a sitting position while the beads are still warm from fusing.

    Assembly:
    Tree: Trim the Green printed cardstock as needed to fit your printer. Print the to/from pattern on the White side of Green printed cardstock. Cut out the shape and adhere it to your tree with the Green print showing through the tree. Thread a length of Silver ribbon through the top Yellow bead to create a hanger.
    Snowman: Trim the Snowcap cardstock as needed to fit your printer. Print the to/from pattern onto Snowcap cardstock. Fold along the dashed line so the to/from is on the inside. Punch the hole. Glue your snowman to the outside of the tag. Thread a length of Red ribbon through the hole and tie in a bow.
    Gingerbread Man: Trim the Green printed cardstock as needed to fit your printer. Print the to/from pattern on the White side of Green printed cardstock. Fold on the dashed line with to/from on the inside. Punch the hole. Tie to the gingerbread man’s arm with silver ribbon.
    Candy Canes: Trim the Snowcap cardstock as needed to fit your printer. Print the to/from pattern onto Snowcap cardstock. Punch the hole. Glue the two candy canes in a heart shape on the pattern as shown in the picture. Thread a length of Red ribbon through the hole to create a hanger for an ornament or a tie for a gift tag.
