Plaid FolkArt Mod Podge Fashionista Canvas
Layered art pops off your wall!
- Time:2 hours
1Project time does not include drying time for neither the paint nor the Mod Podge.
2Begin by painting the canvas with one coat of Metallic Rose paint. Allow to dry. Paint the rectangle (or other wood shape) with a combination of Seashell Pink and Tangerine. Allow to dry.
3Find a picture of a fashionista in either a magazine (or online) and cut (or print) it out. Trim the Blue patterned, Pink Patterned, Red Patterned and fashionista image to fit the top of the plaque and the canvas (use the photo as a guide). Cut a flower from the Green Bean cardstock. Coat the back and front of the papers with Mod Podge, position on the canvas and plaque and smooth any air bubbles with your fingers. Using the foam brush, smooth your brush strokes. Allow to dry.
4Type and print out or write out desired saying (as shown, this is the A girl should be two things ... part of the project) over several lines on Snowcap cardstock. Cut out each line and use the Mod Podge to adhere to the Marine patterned cardstock.
5Hot glue the rectangle (or other wood shape) to the canvas and add flower embellishements near the rectangle (or other wood shape). Hot glue ribbon around the outer edge of the canvas.
