Project Instructions

  • 1
Project time does not include drying time for neither the paint nor the Mod Podge.
  • 2
Paint the canvas Metallic Aquamarine. You will only need one coat of paint. Allow to dry.
  • 3
Coat the back and front of the Pink patterned cardstock with Mod Podge, position on the canvas, and smooth any air bubbles with your fingers. Using the foam brush, smooth your brush strokes.
  • 4
Type and print out or write out desired saying (as shown, this is the "Sewing Mends the Soul” part of the project) over several lines on Snowcap cardstock. Cut saying out.
  • 5
Layer saying, pieces of sewing pattern paper and other desired embellishments onto the canvas using Mod Podge. Allow to dry.
  • 6
Use hot glue to attach Aruba ribbon around the outer edge of the canvas. Trim excess ribbon if needed.
