Project Instructions

  • 1
Fold scrap paper in half and draw half of a heart on the fold. Make one large and one small to fit on jars. Cut out and open. Trace the heart on to the contact paper and cut out.
  • 2
Pounce the Black chalkboard paint onto the jars. Allow to dry. Using a craft knife, score around the heart and peel off.
  • 3
Break the toothpick in half and use it as a stamp to make the small dots around the heart openings using the Wicker White and Pink. Allow to dry.
  • 4
Condition chalkboard surface with chalk before using. Use marker to draw desired design or write desired sentiment on tags. Punch a hole in the top of each tag. Cut a piece of jute long enough to wrap around jars. Stick jute through the hole in the tags and tie to jars. Fill jars with candies.
