Project Instructions

  • 1
Create a Mod Melt flower by heating a Mod Melt stick in a high temp glue gun, fill a mold with the Mod Melt, allow to cool, remove from the mold and paint Bright Baby Pink. Add highlights to the rose with Engine Red. Once dry, top-coat with Mod Podge gloss. Repeat this step to make 12 roses.
  • 2
Use small saw and plywood to cut pennant shapes that are just under 6" wide at their widest point. Paint 3 of the triangles Bright Baby Pink and 3 Soft Apple.
  • 3
Trim burlap to fit just inside the edge of the triangle. Coat the wood triangle with Mod Podge. Position the burlap onto the wood triangle and press. Add a top-coat of Mod Podge. Allow to dry for 1 hour. Repeat for each triangle.
  • 4
Hot glue the letters in the center of each triangle shape. Glue the roses to the corners of the triangle. Use the craft knife to carefully cut a 1/4" hole through the tops of each pennant. Thread the ribbon through the holes so the banner spells EASTER. Trim excess ribbon, if needed.
