Project Instructions

1Wash and dry tin.

2Use the top of the tin as a template to cut out 4 pieces of the Yellow-patterned cardstock. Cut two slightly smaller to fit the insides of the tin. Distress edges and apply ink to the top, bottom and the insides of the tin with Mod Podge. Cut a 1/4 inch strip of Yellow-patterned cardstock, distress and apply around the edge of the lid with Mod Podge. Cut a 1/2 inch of the Black and White patterned cardstock. Apply around the edge of the bottom of tin with Mod Podge. Use sandpaper to sand away any paper extending over the edges of the tin. Place three star stickers across top right of tin lid as shown.Place three star stickers across top right of tin lid as shown.

3Coat the entire outside of tin with Mod Podge. Let dry.

4Make a tag using the Midnight cardstock and Yellow-patterned cardstock as shown and add crimp end. Place stickers and star on tag then add a Red rhinestone. Cut a piece of Black ribbon that will wrap around tin as shown in picture (approximately 14 inch). Use hot glue to secure ribbon around tin so that, while ribbon is in place, the tin will open. Attach Gold elastic cord to tag and slip through ribbon, tie and rim ribbon as shown. Add a message to the graduate with the Black marker.
