Project Instructions

  • 1
Basecoat the canvas with several coats of Parakeet and let dry.
  • 2
Download and print the project template. (You may need to trim it or enlarge it to fit your canvas first.) Cut it out, and then trace it on the canvas.
  • 3
Cut several small squares of white tissue paper and set them aside. Wrap one piece of tissue paper at a time around the eraser end of a pencil. Pour some Mod Podge onto a palette and dip the tissue paper-pencil into the Mod Podge. Push the tissue paper down onto the canvas within the boundaries of the rabbit. Gently pull up the pencil, making sure the tissue paper stays on the canvas. Keep adding tissue paper in the same way until the rabbit is filled in.
  • 4
Glue pom poms for the nose, eye, and tail. (Tip: To make a large tail, either glue several Pink pom poms to the canvas or apply glue to the canvas first, then cut pieces from several Pink pom poms onto the canvas in the shape of a circle.) Let dry for 24 hours before hanging.
