Project Instructions

  • 1
Use a gauge of about 10 sts and 13 rows (about 4 inch) in St st to knit a hat that measures for Child (Teen, Adult). This translates approximately to 17 (19-1/2, 22-1/2) inch in circumference. Save time, check your gauge. If the hook or needle listed under supplies does not work, use the size that allows you to obtain the required gauge.
Pattern is written for smallest size with changes for larger sizes in parentheses. When only one number is given, it applies to all sizes. To follow a pattern more easily, circle all numbers pertaining to your size before beginning. Download the template for abbreviations not explained elsewhere.
    Note:
To make Flowers yarn really pop, when you reach a stitch that will have a flower on it, purl that stitch on RS rows and knit that stitch on WS rows.
