Prepare your rollout sugar cookie dough, cutting the dough into circles before baking.
Bake and cool cookies following recipe instructions.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white, vanilla-flavored candy wafers according to the package instructions and pour into a piping bag.
Messily pipe candy onto the cookie, almost trying to make it look as if snow had melted on the cookie.
Cut off a 1/4" from a marshmallow and stick the cut side on the white wafers, towards the back of the cookie.
With red wafers melted in a disposable decorating bag, pipe a scarf around the bottom of the marshmallow head.
With black wafers melted in a disposable decorating bag, pipe the eyes on the marshmallow and buttons on the melted snow.
With orange wafers melted in a disposable decorating bag, pipe a little carrot nose on the marshmallow.
