DecoArt Teacher's Vase

End a successful school year, begin a new one or make a "just because" gift for your favorite teacher with the colorful DecoArt Teacher's Vase!

Project Instructions

    Wash glass jar with soap and water and let dry. Brush entire outside surface of jar with rubbing alcohol and allow to dry. (This prepares surface for paint.)

    Using flat paint brush, paint Black rectangle to two sides of glass. Using #5 round brush, paint Tuscan Red apple shape on opposite two sides of glass. (See photo and template.)

    Apply two additional coats of Black to rectangle and True Red to apple, allowing to dry between coats.

    Using #5 round brush, paint Dark Chocolate frame around Black rectangle, using three coats and allowing to dry thoroughly after each coat. Use this same brush to paint Festive Green leaf at top of each apple and a Dark Chocolate stem for each apple.

    Using #1 round brush, paint White stick-figure boy and girl onto each blackboard along with "123" and "ABC" above each stick figure. Use this same brush to paint small True Red apple in one hand of each stick figure and in White, paint "A+ Teacher" and the teacher's name inside each apple.
