Breast Cancer Awareness Pumpkin

This project is a great way to show your support for breast cancer - keep it for yourself or give it to someone who's battling the disease or a survivor.

Project Instructions

    Paint pumpkin Magenta and let dry. Repeat with additional coats of paint as needed.

    On scrap paper, write in script the word you want on pumpkin with the White paint marker. For sample, “hope” was used. Write around the script word to make it into a “bubble” or larger font word. Cut out and trace onto pumpkin or just write it freehand! Color in with Pink Paint marker. When dry, outline with White Paint marker.

    Remove shanks from back of buttons with wire cutters. Randomly hot glue around pumpkin.

    Fill in spaces with White paint pen.

    Create multi-loop bow with ribbon and wire; hot glue onto stem of pumpkin, faced to the front, with the tails going to the sides.
