  • Time:1 hour + dry time

Project Instructions

  • 1
Cut out the pages for your book from the Snowcap cardstock. (Use a large star as a template making your pages slightly smaller than the size of the large star).
  • 2
Basecoat one side and the edges of each large star with Licorice (This will be the inside of front and back covers of the book). Paint the edges of each smaller star with Teddy Bear Tan. Paint the interiors of the smaller stars Metallic Pure Gold. Let paint dry.
  • 3
Use the stars as templates to trace onto cardstock (2 large stars Primary Red, 3 smaller stars Maize). Use Mod Podge to apply to stars. Once Mod Podge has dried, sand off excess paper. Add stickers as shown and, using a liner brush, paint white highlights inside each letter with Wicker White; allow to dry. Draw lines around the edges of each star with Black marker as shown.
  • 4
Drill holes and add hardware that will hold your book together.
