    Separate most (but not all) of the buttercream icing into three bowls. Leave one bowl of icing alone. Tint one of the other icings with a drop or two of Blue for Light Blue icing. Tint the remaining bowl with more drops of Blue until it is a bit darker than the other. Ice 2-layer cakes smooth and prepare for stacked construction (place a dowel rod in the center of the base tier, place top tier directly on center, sharpen one end of a wooden dowel rod, push it through all tiers and cakes boards to the base of the bottom tier).

    Position the middle tier on the base tier, centering exactly. Tip: Finely shredded coconut or confectioner's sugar, placed in area where cake circles or plastic plates will rest, helps prevent frosting on the cake from sticking. Repeat with the top tier. To stabilize tiers further, sharpen one end of a wooden dowel rod and push it through all tiers and cake boards to the base of the bottom tier.

    To decorate, start at the top and work down. Print a message using tip 3 on the cake front. Tint four 3 inch diameter balls of fondant Lemon Yellow, Rose, Leaf Green and Violet. Roll out. Using two smallest sized star cutters from set, cut approximately 10 of each size in each color fondant. Using decorator brush dipped in water, randomly attach small and large stars on cake, position additional small stars off-center on large stars. Pipe tip 1M star bottom borders on both cakes. Randomly pipe tip 18 stars on cakes. Position Topper.
