Plaid FolkArt Home Décor Chalk Stenciled Tin Container

Turn ordinary tin into something beautiful!

Project Instructions

    Project time does not include drying time for the paint.
  • 2
    Wash galvanized tin container with mild soap and water. Dry and wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove any leftover residue.
  • 3
    Tape off top and bottom rim of galvanized tin container.
  • 4
    Apply one coat of Cascade to galvanized tin container. Allow to dry and apply a top coat of Salmon Coral. Let dry thoroughly.
  • 5
    Use stencil brush to create scroll design with Sheepskin (or draw a scroll freehand).
  • 6
    Lightly sand painted surface to reveal color underneath for a weathered appearance.
