Project Instructions

  • 1
Project time does not include drying time for the paint. You may find it helpful to first practice your stenciling on a piece of scrap paper with the stencil taped to it.
  • 2
Coffee Buzz Mug: Tape off mug 1 inch from top rim, and again 1 inch below first band of tape. Place stencil on your surface and secure using tape. Use a large brush and paint the surface of the mug and the handle with Mace. Paint more than one coat if necessary. Load Mace sparingly on a stencil brush or sponge and dab off excess. Lightly dab on a thin layer of paint; apply a second coat if necessary. Paint all areas of one color on the stencil before moving on to the next. While Maceis still wet, carefully peel off stencil. Use a foam pouncer to stencil "coffee buzz" in Mace, using the image for reference. Let the paint dry completely before placing another stencil (or color) over it.
