Project Instructions

  • 1
Project time does not include drying time for neither the paint nor the Mod Podge.
  • 2
Use large flat brush to apply Mod Podge to top of paneled wood signboard. Place pages from your favorite book on top and press in place. (Tip: if you don’t want to destroy the book you have, consider using pages from a dictionary or encyclopedia.)
  • 3
Apply another coat of Mod Podge on top of paper. Let dry thoroughly.
  • 4
Use large flat brush to paint decorative wood trim pieces with 2 coats of Lamp (Ebony) Black. Let dry.
  • 5
Position number stencil on top of dry decoupaged paper and tape or hold in place. Use stencil brush to stencil each number with Lamp (Ebony) Black. (Tip: use very little paint on the stencil brush for successful stenciling. It is best to apply 2 light coats of paint, rather than one heavy coat.)
  • 6
    Adhere decorative wood trim.
