Project Instructions

  • 1
Choose 3-4 complementary glitter shades to create your design.
  • 2
Start about an inch from the bottom of the mason jar and begin painting a zig zag with Mod Podge. Take your time creating this first zigzag, you will simply follow the pattern up the mason jar. The thickness of the Mod Podge line (which will become the glitter line) depends on personal preference.
  • 3
Before Mod Podge dries sprinkle glitter onto the glue. Let dry.
  • 4
Lightly brush off excess glitter stuck to jar, and apply a line of Mod Podge just above the line you just created. Create lines of varying thicknesses until you reach about an inch from the top of the mason jar.
