Project Instructions

  • 1
Pour a small amount of Mod Podge onto paper plate or palette. Add a few drops of Teal icing color and mix with sponge brush. Add more icing color to reach desired tint. Note: the color will dry darker than it appears.
  • 2
Apply the Teal colored Mod Podge mixture to the outside of a mason jar in an even coat. Let dry.
  • 3
Repeat for the Sky Blue icing color, using a separate sponge brush to mix and apply.
  • 4
For the third mason jar, add even parts Kelly Green and Sky Blue to the Mod Podge. Apply the colored Mod Podge mixture to the outside of the last mason jar in an even coat. Let dry.
  • 5
Use hot glue to glue the separate parts of the mason jar lid together.
  • 6
Adhere jute to the outside edge of each mason jar lid with hot glue.
  • 7
Glue large shells to the top of each lid, fill & enjoy!
