Duck Tape® Chain Link Garland

Create this chain for the 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas or …any time of year! This is a great project for students to make for their classroom and can be made any size by changing the width of the Duck Tape® and the size of the chain links.

Project Details

Project Instructions

  • 1
    Create 6 inch strips of Duck Tape. Fold 1/3 in on one side, and 1/3 inch in on the other to create an approximate 5/8 inch width strip. Make as many strips as you want for the length of the chain.

    Cut or rip ½ inch strips of matching Duck Tape. Create a loop with first strip of Duck Tape.
  • 3
    Follow with the remaining strips by inserting strip into loop and closing with the ½ inch Duck Tape strip.

    Repeat until desired length.

    Note: 20 chain links equals about a yard of chain
