Project Instructions

1Create double-sided fabric; trim into 3 inch squares.

2Fold duct tape Fabric corner to corner to create guidelines for cutting to create flaps for pinwheel.

3Make 4 cuts on the corners ¾ of the way toward the middle.

4Cut a small square of duct tape; place double

5stick tape underneath this square and center duct tape sticky side up as shown in diagram.

6Fold every other of the triangles onto the sticky tape.

7With an awl or other sharp tool create hole that is large enough for the long bugle bead to snugly fit through the hole. Tip: Use piece of foam or foam board to place under pinwheel to make hole (protect work surface).

8Run Head Pin through the Bugle Bead (from front to back). With Jewelry Pliers, make a right angle to the Head Pin that is sticking out from the back of the pinwheel.

9Use Duck Tape to attach the Pinwheel to the pencil. Reference the diagram below showing the side view.
