Project Instructions

  • 1
Note: the colors of Duck Tape listed under the instructions and supplies is only a guide. Feel free to use a Duck Tape color or print that better matches your style!
  • 2
Cut 3 strips of tape in each of the colors (Winking White, Island Lime and Green Clover) that are a slightly longer than the size of your waist.
  • 3
Fold each strip lengthwise, sticky side to sticky side, making a thinner double sided strip of tape.
  • 4
After you have 3 double sided strips of tape, cut off any excess on each end to give it a clean look.
  • 5
Loop all 3 strips of tape through the belt buckle.
  • 6
Wrap a piece of tape around the strips to secure them around the belt buckle.
  • 7
Start braiding your strips together. You can tape down your belt buckle end to the crafting board so the belt won't shift while you're braiding.
  • 8
Once you've braided your entire belt, secure the ends of the strips together with a piece of tape.
