Cut felt into 1 inch to 1-1/2 inch wide strips and glue to the back of the broom handle. This is very important! Gluing felt to the back of the handle will help prevent the wall or door from being stained, scuffed or scratched!
Apply Glue to back of oval plate of sign and center on broom where bristles meet stick.
Cut 4-1/2 yards of ribbon from the roll and make into bow, securing with chenille stem.
Cut 18 inches of ribbon from roll and fold in half to create 9 inch tails and attach to bow with chenille stem.
Using chenille stem, tie bow onto broom stick just above the metal sign. TIP: apply hot glue to twist of chenille stem so it does not come undone.
Cut off half of the flower stems from the bush.
Apply glue to end of flower stem and insert downward into broom handle above the bow.
Repeat step 7 with each of the stems, placing above the bow as shown in the photo. TIP: Trim stems to create different heights.
