You'll find peace and serenity when wearing this beaded, tassel bracelet.
- Time:1 hour
1Measure a length of beading wire to fit your wrist size, plus an additional few inches.
2String 4 gold beads, then add a white bead to both sides of the gold beads. Finish by stringing on the same number of orange beads to both sides until you reach the desired then.
3Add a crimp bead and jump ring on one end. Loop the wire back through the crimp bead, leaving the ring in the loop. Pull tight and crimp the bead using chain nose pliers. Place crimp cover over the closed crimp bead and close with pliers. Repeat on the other end of wire with the lobster clasp.
4Create tassel with DMC floss by first winding floss around a piece of heavy cardstock, 2x the length of the desired tassel, until you reach the desired fullness. Cut a piece of floss a few inches long and lay horizontally , then slide the floss off the cardstock, and center it on the cut piece of floss. Tie floss into a tight knot around middle of looped thread. Pull the looped threads downward and cut through looped ends. Cut another piece of floss to wrap tassel neck. After wrapping neck, pass end of thread through loop and gently close loop, tucking ends into the head of the tassel. Trim tassel ends if necessary.
5Finish by tying the floss loop to a jump ring and attaching it to your bracelet between the center gold beads. Attach the peace charm with a jump ring in the same spot.
