Nicole's Bead Shop Green Ombré Necklace
Create a necklace that's so on-trend with ombré seed beads!
- Time:1-1/2 hours
1Start with one package of the 6/0 Green-Blue seed bead strands exactly as it is sold, fin six equal-sized loops. Cut a piece of craft wire approximately six inch long. Run it through the center of your six loops and then wrap it four to five times tightly in the same place to keep the beads permanently in this four loop configuration.
2Slide the large Silver cone down over the end of the craft wire. Use your round nose pliers to make a loop, then use the excess wire to make a neat wrap between the end of the loop and the top of the cone. Cut off any remaining wire.
3Repeat steps one and two so that you have two identical parts. Then, put your hand through the middle of one of these multi-loop parts so that the beads are clearly separated into six loops in a big open circle. Put the other multi-loop part through the center of this circle, and keep it permanently in place by running the cone back through the ends of its own loops.
4To finish off the necklace, attach two 8 mm jump rings to one of the wire wrapped loops. Take a 7-inch piece of Black 4 mm craft cord, fold it in half, and push the two ends of the folded cord through the two jump rings and back through its own loop. Glue the raw ends of the cord down into the metal cord end finding. When the glue is dry, use your chain nose pliers to fold the sides of the cord ends flat, one on top of the other. Repeat on the opposite side of the necklace.
