Sweet Beads Sadie's Studio Charming Seaside Necklace
The charms used to make the Sweet Beads Sadie's Studio Charming Seaside Necklace will allow you to have a bit of the ocean with you - no matter where you actually are!
- Time:1-1/2 hours
1Make the three-tiered bottom portion of the necklace first. Start by cutting three lengths of chain: an 8 inch, 10 inch and 12 inch. Lay these three pieces of chain flat on a bead mat. Space the beads and charms along the lengths of these three pieces of chain until you are satisfied with the pattern you have created.
2Turn the Topaz beaded beads and the 10 mm round ceramic beads into dangles using head pins. Slide a bead onto a headpin, cut the excess headpin so that 3/8 inch remains, and use your round nose pliers to make a loop.
3Attach the charms and dangles to your chain using 5 mm jump rings.
4Use two flat round Dark Brown ceramic beads to create connectors. Slide a ceramic bead onto an eyepin, cut the excess eyepin so that 3/8 inch remains, and use your round nose pliers to make a loop. Before closing the loop, attach one end of each of your three pieces of chain to the loop. Then make sure it is firmly closed. Repeat the step on the opposite side of the necklace.
5Use jump rings to attach the flat round ceramic beads to the anchor charms. Then use jump rings to attach pieces of chain in the lengths you desire between the anchor and each side of the necklace clasp.
