Project Instructions

  • 1
Cut ½" wide strips, as long as you can of fabric from tie-dye T-shirt (the fuller the pom pom, the more strips you will need). Stretch out fabric strips by pulling ends to relax, stretch and curl edges.
  • 2
Using the palm of your hand as a measuring device and wind the strips of fabric around your hand.
  • 3
Carefully remove the fabric bundle from your hand, careful to keep it intact. Then take twine and tie it around the middle of the fabric bundle, pull and tie.
  • 4
Finally use your scissors to cut through each of the tops of the loops. Then trim all around the pom until you get the length you want.
  • 5
Apply FABRIC-TAC to the top of the flip-flop straps and adhere a pompom to each flip-flop.
