iLoveToCreate Girly Girl Ruffled Flip-Flops

Welcome warmer weather with shoes that are oh so haute! Ruffled fabric is a fabulously feminine way to turn any ordinary pair of flip-flops into one that sizzles with style.

Project Details

Project Instructions

    Rip two 1" wide strips of cotton fabric, long enough to cover straps of each flip-flop, adding extra length for gathering.
  • 2
    Sew a basting stitch down the center of fabric strips then pull thread to gather fabric.
  • 3
    Apply FABRIC-TAC to the top of the flip-flop straps and press strips in place on straps.
  • 4
    Remove remaining liner and press gathered fabric strips in place on top of tape. Trim excess from ends if needed.
  • 5
    Create bow from excess strip of fabric and adhere to point of strap with a small dot of FABRIC-TAC.
