  • Time:1 hour

Project Instructions

  • 1
Project time does not include the time for neither washing nor drying the onesie near the end of this project.
  • 2
Cover work area with newspaper or a plastic table cover.
  • 3
Take a White onesie and place cardboard inside to prevent the dye form bleeding through.
  • 4
Place stencil mask on the onesie.
  • 5
Shake Rit dye bottles before using. Mix 4 tablespoons (1/4 cup) dye color of your choice with hot water in a spray bottle. Test color by spraying on a paper towel. If too light, add more dye. Too dark, add more water.
  • 6
Wearing rubber gloves, spray dye over stencil until you achieve the desired level of saturation.
  • 7
Remove cardboard and stencil mask and rinse onesie. Wash fully once more and let dry.
