Project Instructions

  • 1
You may find it helpful to watch the video provided near the top of this page for more on using Sharpie's Fabric Markers. Trace and transfer the template to the bag, or use a Light Box to assist you. Use the method you are most comfortable with.
  • 2
Iron the bag and place a book in it to ensure a smooth flat surface for coloring.
  • 3
Color the dog's ears Blue, using the side of the marker. While this color is still wet, color a bit of shading into the ear with the Purple and then use Black at the tips.
  • 4
Shade the eyes in Black. Leave a little bit of the bag showing to show the highlights in the dog's eyes.
  • 5
Color the nose Black. Use Orange for Creases and then add Blue over the top to create a Brownish color. Add more Orange over the top if your dog looks too Blue.
  • 6
Shade with the Blue, Orange, Purple and other desired colors.
  • 7
Outline the entire drawing in Black when you are finished.
