Watermelon To Go Tote

This sweet tote is perfect for shopping, an overnight or even as a purse. Your friends are going to want one too!

Project Instructions

    Tape off bottom 1/3 of tote bag. Following instructions on packaging, dye top 2/3 of tote Fuchsia. Once dry, remove the tape and dye remaining portion Apple Green. Let dry.

    Measure out enough ribbon to wrap once around the tote where the Fuchsia and Apple Green meet. Make sure the two ends meet in the center of the tote. Apply fabric glue to the back of the ribbon with a paint brush and glue ribbon into place. Let dry.

    Position 11 buttons on the Fuchsia portion of the bag and tape them into place. Use a sewing needle and embroidery floss to sew them onto the tote. Repeat on the reverse side.

    Form two small bows with the ribbon. Sew bows onto the center of the ribbon on each side of the tote.
