Stenciled T-shirtBack to category
Design your own t-shirts by creating simple stencils and using SEI Tumble Dye. It's pre-mixed for easy use; no rubber gloves, salts or hot water needed. All you need to do is spray!
- Time:1 hour
1Prepare your work area by spreading plastic sheeting over your work table and secure it with some tape.
2On sticker or cardstock paper, draw or print out an outline of your design. Cut the area you want dyed out of your stencil (with a razor knife) and place on fabric (adhesive side down).
3Place a piece of plastic or cardboard in between the shirt to prevent bleeding on the back.
4Using a dry t-shirt, cover any other exposed area of the shirt with plastic or paper. Shake each bottle well and carefully spray the open area, saturate as desired. (If using regular paper, remove immediately to avoid extra bleeding). Allow dye to dry completely.
5Add more layers as desired. We recommend letting one color dry before adding another to prevent over-saturation and bleeding.
6Heat set in the dryer for 15 minutes.
