Watermelon Cutie Tank

Dress your little cutie in this watermelon tank for a fun summertime look! Use a larger t-shirt and this tank becomes a dress.

Project Instructions

    Cut out water melon templates and trace the larger slice onto the green bandana and small slice on pink bandana. Cut out.

    Follow Heat Bond instructions to attach green slice to t-shirt and then pink slice to the green slice. Once cooled, use Fab-Tac to first attach sequins to the edge between the colors. Then add a dab of Fab-Tac to the center of each sequin and add a small rhinestone. Let dry.

    Cut out pocket templates, trace, and cut them from the green bandana. Attach each pocket to the bottom of the tank using Fab-Tac glue. Attach sequins to the edge of the pocket, as shown, and a rhinestone in the center of each sequin. Let dry.

    Cut off both sleeves of the t-shirt starting at the armpit and working your way up to the collar. Then, cut the collar at each shoulder so the top of the tank a front and back piece. Use the tubular opening of the collar to string the satin ribbon through and tie a bow at one shoulder.
