Tell-A-Story Wood Blocks

Once upon a time there was a smart and crafty child who made story cubes to spark her imagination. She told and wrote endless, riveting, and magical tales of adventure. The smart girl, her brilliant mother, and her giant blue dog went out for ice cream and lived happily ever after. THE END.

Project Details

  • Level:ages 6 + up
  • Time:2 hours + dry time

Project Instructions

  • 1
    Paint the blocks with the assorted colors of acrylic paint and let dry.
  • 2
    Attach a sticker to each side of each block.
  • 3
    Brush the blocks with the decoupage medium and let dry.
  • 4
    To play: Toss the blocks on a flat surface and tell a story using the pictures that show on the blocks.
