Flowers For All Ages: Little Kids

Creativity is in full bloom for early elementary age kids. This simple pom pom flower project makes it quick and easy to make a beautiful bouquet.

Project Instructions

    Make a pom pom by cutting a 1/2 yard piece of yarn and place between center prongs of fork. Cut a four yd piece of yarn and wrap around fork prongs. Use the half yard piece of yarn to tie tightly around wraps and knot. Slip wraps off of fork and cut the loops on both sides of tie. Trim pom pom to give it a round shape.

    Fold one Emerald chenille stem in half and twist the halves together to make one stronger stem. Glue one end of the twisted chenille stem to the pom pom.

    Cut a leaf shape from the Emerald felt and glue it to the stem.
