Nicole Crafts Glitter Flower Pot
Flowers are always a great way to show someone you care. This project is a creative way to say I love you to a parent, grandparent or anyone else special.
- Time:1 hour
1Paint inside, top edge and outer rim metallic gold and let dry.
2Roll permanent adhesive onto top edge and outer rim, then sprinkle with gold glitter. Press glitter into adhesive, then shake off excess.
3Using pattern provided, cut out decorative paper to cover lower part of flower pot. Glue in place with paper glue.
4Take the adhesive tape and remove backing on one side and attach sheet to white card stock. Trace flower shapes onto sheet, and then cut out.
5Working with one glitter color at a time, remove backing from flowers and sprinkle with glitter. Press glitter into flowers and shake off excess. Glue centers to flowers.
6Use hot glue to attach Styrofoam® block to inside of flowerpot. Paint Styrofoam® with gold acrylic.
7Hot glue a chenille stem to the back of each flower. Trim stems to desired heights. Cut the # inch x 3 inch x 3 inch block into 1 ½ inches. Insert stems into Styrofoam®.
