Nicole Crafts Light Bulb Bird
This little birdie is a fun & simple project for kids to enjoy. Nicole Crafts acrylic containers are inexpensive and easy for little hands to craft and create! Let them go wild with pom poms, wiggle eyes and chenille stems...kids will have a blast, whether at a birthday party, camp or at an after school program!
- Time:1-2 hours
1Paint light bulb with two coats of Snow White paint. Let dry.
2Cut tissue paper into squares. Brush Mod Podge® onto an area of bulb. Place square of tissue onto wet bulb. Use a light touch and brush the tissue paper with Mod Podge®. Repeat and cover entire bulb. Let bulb completely dry.
3Cut one half of one bump off of orange bumpy chenille stem and glue to end of bulb for beak as shown. Glue eyes on each side of beak.
4Tie a long piece of monofilament around the bulb and hot glue in place. Tie a knot where desired for hanger. Trim ends.
5Glue feathers on as wings, tail and a little bit on top of head.
