Project Instructions

  • 1
For those that already know how to use a crochet hook to make a bracelet, you are just making one of those, but using 2 loops at a time.
  • 2
For those that don’t know how to use a crochet hook, place 2 bands on the hook (B1). Add an additional 2 bands (B2).
  • 3
Pull B2 and place B1 so they are hanging on B2.
  • 4
Pull on B1 and fold over B2 onto the hook. It will look doubled on the hook.
  • 5
Add Band #3 (B3). Pull on B3 and move B2 so it is hanging on the stretched out B3 band. Fold over B3 onto the hook.
  • 6
Repeat this process, adding as many bands as you need or want. Before removing last band, attach closure ring or jump ring, making sure it goes over both bands on the hook.
  • 7
Once the clasp is on the one end of the bracelet, slide Mix and Mingle beads on the other end. Tip: figure out the order you want the beads before you start place on bracelet. Don’t pull too hard on the first loops; once pushed onto the bracelet itself, just stretch out and move the bead to where you want it on the bracelet. Because the bands are doubled they hold the beads in place without them sliding all over.
  • 8
Attach end of bracelet to stretch band loop.
