Hampton Art Baby Shower Invitation

It's quicker (and easier) than you might think to use cardstock, stamps and ink to make invitations to baby showers, weddings and other special occasions from scratch. Not to mention the personal, heartfelt touch it gives your event. We think this particular project is as cute as button -- and your guests will think so too!

Create your own, snap a picture, and share using #ACMooreInspired.

Project Instructions

  • 1
Trim the Citrus Teal cardstock down to 5-1/2" x 4-1/4". Ink up the buttons border stamp with Turquoise, then stamp it on a diagonal across the Snowcap cardstock. Let the piece dry, then attach to the Citrus Teal cardstock base.
  • 2
Die cut an ornate frame on the Pale Blue cardstock, and use an embossing folder or die cut machine to add texture. Adhere to card with a tape runner. Apply Baby Shower Invitation stamp on Snowcap cardstock with ink pad. Use a paper trimmer to crop the image, and then mount on a piece of Citrus Teal cardstock. Adhere the Citrus Teal cardstock to center of the invitation with the tape runner and trim excess.
  • 3
Glue on button. Embellish the edges of the invitation with glitter glue. Let dry
